Someone is getting confused on terminology here. People wrongly assume "ethnic minority " is solely a colour thing. The first point is that 1/3 of "ethnic minorities" in England are white ( see CRE website) so if the Council say only ethnic minorities" are allowed because the issue is cultural differences from ethnic majority then only native "white British" are excluded. Irish and Polish etc are allowed as they are ethnic minorities . However if they say "no whites" that is a specific colour bar regardless of cultural difference factors . (Actually it can be argued that poor white British also have cultural marginalisation issues ). From the sound of it the Council is trying on a racist agenda . the correct route is to demand entry , get refused, make a formal complaint of criminal behaviour against the council and ask CRE to posecute and demand £50,000 damages for hurt feelings. Or at least get an E European mate to do it for you. It seems "PC tick box racist" police and LAs are testing the boundaries to see what they can get away with it so its important to whistle blow as soon as cases arise.
