Default Thousands of Romanians to pay £4 to travel to & enter UK

From today's Sun (page 7):

Romanians may be about to enter the UK for as little as £4.

Wizz airlines are expected to bring thousands on a special route set up to cash in on the end of border controls (when Romania enters the EU on 1.1.2007).

The air link will operate out of Baneasa near Bucharest and Wizz may also use an airport in Dracula's home region of Transylvania.

The Open Society Foundation said that 2.5 million Romanians (out of a total population in Romania of about 20 million) might have quit the country to seek work in other EU nations by the end of next year (2007).

Builder Mihai Ionescu (33) smirked "The British Government can't stop me going to London. Then (when I am in London) I will disappear."

Ionanna Dumitrescu (25) said "I will go to London as a tourist and won't come back."

Gypsy Rostislav Shatov of Bulgaria said "I will join a gang on a farm (in the UK)."

Wizz airlines already brings in thousands of people (to the UK) on cheap flights from Poland and Hungary.

Default Express do a good job

Yes, I'm already aware of the view of Express reporting on this matter since I buy it regularly. And I think the Express are doing a good job in continually exposing the dangers and problems of our membership of the EU giving the right to nearly 500 million to come to the UK and to claim our social security and other benefits after twelve months.

The Express has much improved since its owner ended his support of Blair's Lie-bour Party.

I might break my media boycott and start getting the Express. It may be a bit tabloid (nowt really wrong with that), but it is the ONLY paper that is really putting in some effort to represent UKIP like thinking.

It'll give my eyes a rest from the screen.

Default Express needs to cover EU more and become more eurosceptic

Good - the Express is better than some other tabloids. I just wish it became, officially, an anti-EU newspaper. We do not have an anti-EU 'paper in this country - even though anti-EU feeling is always somewhere between 25% and 50% depending on which opinion poll one looks at.

The Express doesn't seem to have many eurosceptic reports - unless one counts its proud record of reporting on and warning about the mass influx from eastern europe which is pushing down wages here and costing us money (in social security payments to those east europeans who can claim benefits after 12 months work in the UK).
