Why would this not also be a "stunning advert" for UKIP, surely they do not agree with it?

Anyway, I doubt most people will even get to hear about, and if they do, it will soon be forgotten, along with the countless hundreds of potentially "stunning adverts" that should have swept the likes of the BNP into power by now, but have not.

People, do they REALLY give a hoot?

This is the BNP's ace terroritory though isn't it. There wouldn't be ANY asylum seekers here full stop and when decisions like this get made, you would think there would be some sort of backlash to the extreme end of solutions.

Sure UKIP would have kicked this out out immedietly as a failed asylum seeker, but when dicks like this judge make this kind of decision, you can't blame people if they turn to the other end of the spectrum.

There are those that consider UKIP as the "other end of the spectrum", and the party has made much play of immigration type pronouncements over the last year or so, so why is UKIP seemingly completely unable to exploit this as an issue?

Is it because that had this asylum seeker been from eastern Europe, only then would we have heard UKIP bleeting on about it? UKIP just cannot seem to separate the issue of immigration from the issue of Europe, with those from the east becoming only a relatively new experience on top of decades of global migration, legal or otherwise, into Britain.

How would UKIP stop the judge making that decision then?

Perhaps because UKIP is not against Immigration or Asylum Seekers coming here.

By there not being a failed Asylum seeker here to lock up. Keeping him here for 20 months is crazy.

So you would bring in new laws that that say when an Asylum Seekers claim fails he is deported without any right to appeal?

I don't really see how appeal is relevant in this case. They are not a British national, so don't get the full rights that our citizens do as far as I am concerned. If they turn up illegaly, with no documentation to prove where they are from and don't give a valid account of how they got here, then they have a choice. They either get the first plane home, or they can work their arses off in a work prison if they won't say where they did come from. Their choice.
