Should UKIP be for Immigration or against It?

There is no simple yes or no answer to immigration. Britain needs a certain amount of immigration to counter balance migration. What Britain doesn't need is the mass uncontrolled immigration we are suffering at the moment. It's my opinion but I think we need a complete halt to ALL immigration NOW! until we have decided who goes and who stays from the present lot!

UKIP must`nt look like an anti immigration party.Its best to say that if we were out of the EU another spinoff would be control of our borders.

What is to be done with all those EU migrants,mainly Poles but soon to be outnumbered by Romanians and Bulgarians,who are in this country presently?

We should be for controlled immigration. Being against all immigration is silly and would stop people who have emigrated to Australia being able to return with their Australian wife.

IMHO controlling immigration and reducing it is easy :-
1) No benefits for the first 3 years
2) Illegals never get permission to stay
3) Fine companies that employ illegals a lot of money
4) Give whisteblowers in (3) eg 10 % of the fine.
3) Deport criminals
4) Make asylum seekers go back when it is safe.

This way we would have

I would put 4;Asylum seekers to be held in camps for a period,to ascertain who they really are and check behaviour patterns.

If someone who claims to be Zimbabwean tends to converse with Kosovans but not his own kind,we can be sure theres something wrong.

Rhodesians, Australians and New Zealanders for example.

So, you are proposing that immigration should be based solely on race.

Robin, I am sure that the chance of a mistaking a Zimbabwean with a Kosovan are almost zero!

This may be true if you see the situation solely as black and white.

Not so true where it is wholly white and white, or black and black.

Based on the British Ethnic groups and their descendents.
I.E Irish, English, Scottish and Welsh.
