France using the EU as required

I note with interest the latest "Immigration Bill" France has produced.
It worries me that they have become the biggest "transient" camp for the Uk that I have known in recent times.
Surely, they cannot ignore EU guidelines/ policies and forget another member of the EU in order to safeguard their own country?
This is not a racist comment, but an observation regarding migrational policies.

The French are quite happy to usher illegal immigrants in their country towards the entrance to the Channel Tunnel.

And Bliar is quite keen on them coming to join his expanding pool of cheap (low salary, union free) labour over here, too (despite whe he and his Liebour Party says).
