The same can be said about your support for Collett's "cockroach" comment, as a member of the BNP you are going to be suspected of being a racist idiot, as soon as you start making comments like these is very much a case of QED.

When did Collett say he was wrong? Just like Griffin he has stopped talking about the things for which he is reviled but he has not retracted or apologized for any of them verbally or in print as far as I know.

Moreover I heard him myself talking fondly about fascist symbols about a year ago. Neither of them has changed their views one iota.

The things which Collett and Griffin have said are so abhorrent that they will never be forgiven by the electorate. Griffin might have been able to convince some people (like me) that he had genuinely changed but following his backing of Collett and his disgusting totalitarian behavior during the Grayham affair only a fool could believe he is not the man he always was.

So we have a situation where you have thrown away the benefit of the doubt and are supporting people that everyone with an interest in the subject and an objective view point believes to be disingenuous fascists. What conclusion does that suggest to you?

For every siren there are of course two megaphones without batteries desperately trying to make themselves heard. First of all UKIP members and supporters are by and large quite able to make a rational assessment of whether to join the BNP or not. As they are doing so in increasing numbers due mainly to the ever lacklustre election performances of their former party, I welcome their contribution and input into further developing the BNP and making its public profile more electable.

Cherrypicking selected remarks often taken out of context or uttered in the confines of a private gathering in a bar should not be taken seriously by anyone.

The BNP remains under considerable attack not least by the expelled Ms Ebanks and all the other extremists that have been exposed and expelled, by the modernising leadership. That is why the neo-nazis hate Griffin with such a vengeance.
