Ouch. 6th spot, behind the Greens and BNP, and a slightly reduced percentage.... just days after a massive amount of EU related media coverage.

1066 for Labour, what a bad year that was! Unfortunately none of the smaller parties saved their deposits but still, a good showing for the Greens and BNP to beat the party of government...where now for UKIP?

I suppose the argument will be that 2.4% is better than 2.2%

Poor UKIP. Time to give up or support those who do have guts like a little old lady and a millionaire! I thought they were going to trounce the BNP? If they can't beat them in Henley they are really struggling.

Very poor result for the English Democrats and UKIP percentage is down from 2.5% to 2.4%. Greens up by 0.5% and BNP up by 3.6%, though no candidate last time. So Greens and BNP see their votes rise and UKIP sees it vote fall, suggests not good prospects there I'm afraid for UKIP.

I suppose that despite not saving their deposit, the Greens and BNP will be pleased as punch to beat Labour whose vote fell by over 11%.

Well it was a crappy result for UKIP but not really much crappier than anyone elses.

From what I could see, we ran a decent campaign but without a functioning branch and too few volunteers there wasn't much we could do but leaflet.

Another terrible result for the BNP. We are only on the verge of ruin and destruction, nothing big. I know Rome wasn't built in a day but time is running out. How can the BNP message be better communicated? What will wake people up? How much worse must it get?
