True UKIP have MEPs(though they have lost a few on the way), but judging from recent UKIP election results they will be lucky to have any left after the Euro elections. UKIP do have a MP who defected, he almost certainly will lose his seat at the next general election.

Nevertheless UKIP do have MEPs and one MP, while for the present the BNP do not have any.
If UKIP do not beat the BNP in a place like Henley, then surely alarm bells must ring with even the most loyal UKIP members and supporters.

They don't seem to realise how much support they are losing. The senior UKIP members on this forum do nothing to promote the party, rather adopt an aloof posture which is the wrong way to build up support. They do not understand leadership and I expect their decline to gather pace.

Granted the BNP may be authoritarian, however extremist is a very subjective term. As Powell said:

Have you ever wondered, perhaps, why opinions which the majority of people quite naturally hold are, if anyone dares express them publicly, denounced as 'controversial, 'extremist', 'explosive', 'disgraceful', and overwhelmed with a violence and venom quite unknown to debate on mere political issues? It is because the whole power of the aggressor depends upon preventing people from seeing what is happening and from saying what they see.

He was right!

I know that Enoch is the BNP lovers' God and you all have little statues of him which you bow down to, but really. Even the current edition of the Oxford dictionary says that the BNP are "extreme". And I should think they know a little about their terms. Just look at the BNP's racial, economic and policing policies: they are extreme!

Membership has been on the rise. We made gains at the 2008 local elections. We have recently acquired an MP. I think maybe your definition of "losing" may be a wee bit unorthodox

And a BNP boy is giving another party lectures on leadership. Look at Griffin and Darby; what a mess they are

What will the BNP do if they lose Henley to UKIP after cowering off in both Crewe and Hull?

Blame the "Establishment conspiracy", "the Reds" and the idiocy of the people as per?

We will come to that when and if it happens.
As for UKIP membership we will see what state that is in when the accounts are published.

How about a change of stratergy ? Clearer policies etc ? May be we could learn from the Northern League in Italy and they are not the same as the BNP.

Hm, Stop trying to put everyone in comfortable pigeon holes. I am not in the BNP. Does it make you feel safe having the world organised under familiar labels? This is part of liberalism being left behind: it is not only that the new thinking is being done by nationalists it is also that liberals are clinging to old ways of looking at the world that no longer fit reality. Awfully quaint!

Extreme what? I would not expect the rather orthodox Oxford dictionary to give an unbiased appraisal of anything outside the parameters permitted by the elites. Still, you are a good boy and obediently think all the right things.
