Default UKIP Henley: Public Meetings

UKIP Henley | UKIP Public Meetings

There will be two public meetings in Henley. Dr. Spink will be present at the first. In the second, strangely enough, Cllr Steve Radford, leader of the Liberal Party will be present. According to the 'full details', Radford will "be on the platform alongside UKIP leader Nigel Farage" and will "stress the advantages of having a free trade policy with Europe." I hope both are well attended.

Since the Liberals aren't standing in the by-election, have they turned to UKIP as an ally? And does anyone who's been to Henley (or anyone involved) know whether these meetings will be well publicised?

Hi HM,

We're definitely going to be promoting the meetings. Steve and co are making sure I get all the information they have which is fantastic. I understand that there will be adverts in the paper and I will be promoting this stuff on the web.

I think it's great that we've secured speakers well in advance and it will be interesting to see how Steve Radford will react to the meeting. I hope to see more collaboration instead of us going up against each other - the real enemies are Labour, the Conservatives and the Liberal Democrats.

Excellent! I hope Mr. Adams manages to rally lots of support and people get to know we're a party of more than one issue. From the UKIP Henley site it looks like he's doing a good job. Plus the fact that UKIPwatch hasn't managed to dish any dirt on him yet - which can't be a bad sign

Good work, Alex. I like the new template, BTW. Well done to UKIP for capitalising on the networking capabilities of local politicos, too.
