I don't know about snobbish. Tim Rait is educated, a professional,cultured and speaks with a good accent and is a former tory. More that can be said of the uneducated and inarticulate twerps on here who constantly attack the BNP on the behalf of UKIP.
They make UKIP look like a party of morons - hartlepool, MKPD etc - have never made one intelligent criticism. They are regularly called childish or others speculate whether they are drunk or not.The senior UKIP figures on here must be ashamed to have such dolts following them. No wonder they keep out of the melee!

I was sitting opposite Tim Rait at a meeting a few years with only a small table between the two of us. We were discussing Surrey and traffic congestion in Hindhead amongst other things. Tim came across as an educated intelligent person. Something tells me that he will beat UKIP in Henley just like he did in Maidenhead. Why? Because UKIP will act like silly twerps by trying to smear him as being a semi-literate unemployed thug from a council house in Dagenham. The voters will see right through it.

The voters won't care how much Tim Rait cares about traffic congestion, nor what a lovely accent he has, they'll look to his grimy, racist, islamophobic party and think "yuck. I'm not voting for that."

You wish, the voters are more likely to look at UKIP and see a party that has been using their taxes to pay for their luxury lifestyles in Europe despite saying they want to leave the EU. The electors have rejected UKIP in London and I believe they will reject you in Henley.

I did think I had read a thread on the Stormfront forum which suggested Mr Butler had attended a meeting of the ultra right BBP. I can't find either that thread or any other accounts and therefore withdraw the assertion and apologize to Mr Butler.

It is however unfortunately entirely credible that members of the BNP would attend such an event, and indeed the BBP report that they do. If Griffin's "reformation" had been sincere then this claim would just not be credible.

It was a constant complaint of the West Midlands BNP that they could get none of the "big names" to speak, never mind campaign.

You have any evidence of your assertion that Griffin is a common sight on the campaign trail? Particularly Sedgefield?

Somehow I doubt that Griffin's diary is suffering congestion, aside from "conferences" on the Costa Del Sol and an extended trip to Belgium in the medium term.
