I am the ideal candidate.

I live in Oxon. I was a non-executive director of the combined Primary Care Trust that covered Henley's Townlands hospital and I controversially put the PCT plans for the closure of the hospital in the public domain. That made me popular with the Save Townlands Hospital Campaign. I have served as a councillor in Oxfordshire for 9 years and am networked in the county. I served at RAF Benson in the constituency and controversially put the unlawful expenditure on McKee House into the public domain (I am still known to many RAF personnel in the constituency as a former Puma navigator/crewman). In a constituency with one of the highest percentage of graduates I am a double graduate and would appeal to my intellectual equals (all the big parties will have candidates with at least one degree). I am a member of Oxfordshire Schools Admissions Appeals Panel, a legal tribunal from which appeal is to the High Court, and have sat on appeals relating to many schools within the constituency. I was UKIP candidate in Witney at the last GE and received the highest vote of all UKIP candidates in Oxfordshire both numerically and in percentage terms.

Delphine should stand again, but if not her then I will get a higher vote than anyone parachuted in from outside.

Indeed they aren't but the general point still stands. Also, at least as far as the MP and situation regarding the House of Lords is concerned they are all defectors from one party - the CONServative Party.
