Brown and Labour would have taken into account the Tory party conference and the expected boost to their poll ratings.

They will gamble on it being a short term thing as was the Tory lead in the polls not that long ago.

Now Labour will make big announcements next week to underscore any potential Tory support.

I believe Labour know they will win come what may, the question being how big will be their majority.

I think Tory support is over estimated and their support very fragile which will show signs of crumbling once the election is under way.

Sticking my neck out I predict a Labour victory with a 100+ majority.

What do you think Lie-bour will make big announcements next week about RTSTN?

I can think of one or two vote-winning policies but I would not wish to write what they are - I don't want to help them in any way.

You happy fellow! Do you want him back with 20% support like last time or is it OK on less? You could get the abstentionists doing even better, a 100-plus majority, and Broon gets only 15% of the electorate's support.

What was that about "it can only get better"? The sleezy sods are leading us into a recession. Darling's got the notes in his hands as I pump away at this computer!

I think some sort of tax give away which will give most some sort of financial boost(or give the appearance of doing so).
Other announcements on the NHS, Iraq and possibly a few surprises.

Just an opinion of what will happen, not what I want to happen.
