What's the point with all these little 'England' parties - Free England, English Democrats, English Independent Party, etc.

If England is to have a strong independence movement (I'm a Unionist so would rather not) than surely their differences cannot be so distant for them not to unite?
What's the point of all the little 'British' parties - UKIP, BNP, Veritas, National Front?

Surely you can put your differences aside and unite?

It was an uncontested election. Not enough candidates to require a vote.

Two of the three named officers were UKIP candidates in Stafford elections.

Meanwhile the EU juggernaut thunders on, Britain/England loses its identity and freedoms, while big fish wallow about in little ponds.

I see he picked up 78 votes. I don't know much about Gilbert or the EPP. If he is a long-standing local activist/face in the community/put a lot of work into his campaign, he shouldn't be crowing from the rooftops with this result, but if he's relatively unknown, then this result is actually not bad for this 'one man and his dog' outfit.

It is easy to scoff at those who get off their butts and actually try to do something! I admire those who ignore the inevitable scorn which accompanies a poor result and, undeterred, continue with what they believe is the right course of action . . . whether or not I agree with 'em!

Default EPP? Exactly Proving a Point! It doesn't tell me!

He got 78, which is two more than the Green Party gote. But i think he made a mistake putting "E.P.P." on the description. Who knows what that stands for?

Stafford Borough Council

I agree. If you put EPP into google the result is, "European People's Party (EPP)"

Colwich is the next but one village to me, and I think shares the same local councillors (certainly shares the same county councillor), as well as doctors facilities, local amenities etc. I've never heard of him at all, so he isn't well known locally.
