Both from the two Unions of the UK and of the EU, and generally having back our English freedoms. The choice of name was RTL's and I feel it is a wonderful name for our party.

Disbanding the UK will just cause needless expensive chaos. Both aims of this party are critically flawed, ergo the party will fail, no? |

Can you quantify the cost of disbanding the United Kingdom? Can you define what is meant by 'chaos'? You're a bit vague, aren't you, or it that 'critically flawed'? |

In turn: The freedom of movement between countries with the bare minimum of controls. The cost I cannot absolutely quantify, but think of the legions of barristers and advocates, then you will get the general gist of the cost. Chaos? Think before you type, please... Wales, suddenly being axed from the UK the immediate need for education policies, health policies, people will die if the transfer is not gentle, however, a gentle transfer means greater costs. People would live in wales, but witha British passport, which will suddenly become useless. The Union Jack that we all fly so proudly (N.B. the favicon) will be rendered null and void. Direct enough for you? |

Hysterical clap trap. Can you honestly say that the dissolution of Czechoslovakia was difficult, or the separation of Montenegro from Serbia?
Devolution has made the task even easier, with every country now having its own government. Of course England hasn't, but with 80% of the British parliament being English, it's not hard to do. Actually, I'm surprised that devolution came about, 'cos it can't have been easy. |

To be brutally honest, I do not know *why* I am discussing this, as the appropriate parties shall never come to power. |

You know you've rattled Northumbrian when he uses phrases such as "hysterical clap trap"! Incidentally, I would have thought that it is for him to "quantify the cost of disbanding the United Kingdom". After all, it is he who is demanding the changes which will incur costs. Even his 'separation' examples (of Czechoslovakia and Montenegro) are flawed, both having transpired outwith the clutches of the EU. _ |
