There is already hardly any mention of the Irish rejection of the Lisbon Treaty on the BBC home page. Just a mention under 'Europe' of the gathering of the Council of Ministers who will be discussing the matter this week.
No mention of the key vote in the Lords tomorrow when, if passed, the treaty will pass its final stage and be formally ratified - even though there has been a call to Lords of all parties, from Lord Owen, to postpone ratification until the EU has found a way forward. |
