1.) Job cuts in the City, possibly up to 10,000 due to the credit crunch, greedy cockups in the baking sector and global economic downturn 2.) New non-dom laws pushing wealthy investors and skilled transnational employees of high tech/banking business/consultancy firms out of London 3.) EU regulations making London an unattractive place for high skilled/high stress workers due to diminishing returns compared to overseas i.e. reductions in bonuses 4.) Ever growing taxes/cost of living pushing native skilled workers out of London overseas 5.) The knock on effect this will have on shops/pubs/resturants/I.T suppliers/cleaners etc. Oh well at least we have the Olympics ![]() Ea of dune |
