Default Colour, pro-Labour political views

Yes Eurosceptic Atlanticist - you have chosen a more suitable colour in view of her leftist pro-Labour political views.

They were exactly the same: Belgium and Luxembourg were in currency union since 1921. The vast majority of cash notes in circulation were Belgian anyway, with the Luxembourgish 100F, 1000F and 5000F bills in a distinct minority. All other denominations were Belgian only.

It's not customary to have any person other than the Queen on a coin, unless you count Britannia.

If you see any of the bridge coins it might be worth hanging onto them Britannist, they are pretty small issue and it is quite odd for a special edition £1 coin to be minted, they usually do the 50ps and £2s.

There is no need for a 'single european currency'.

UKIP and the entire anti-EU movement need to reach (among others) younger voters - those who may not be old enough to remember the battles of the early 1990's to stop the europhile fool Major forcing the UK into the euro - to warn them of the dangers of the euro and of the EU Superstate now under construction.

Why when we are offered the new coins do we all not accept them if they are euro lookalikes and ask for the old coins if none of us accept them they will go away.

Thank you for your advice, Tito.

I have just checked my change and have got one Pound coin with a bridge image on it left.

Twizzel: We will have to see what the new 'modern' coins to be issued (on the orders the Brown Labour Government) are like - I am sure if the designs of them do not go down well with the British public the newspapers will soon report it.

It's got SFA to do with the coin or its value or who will take it in their tills and everything to do with the implications of Britains membership of the European Central Bank.
