As cities go, Gloucester is quite small. Guildford (another small city), returns a Conservative MP.

Larger cities - Plymouth, Newcastle, Cardiff etc are more pro-Labour. They also have more constituencies.

Which begs the question. Are we being lied to about the true support for the EU?

If we are being lied to on this. What else might they be lying to us about? How about Genreal Election results?
The simple answer is - YES! Nobody running the EU wants a democratic voice from the people, because they know their game will be up. Trouble is one day it will explode in their faces!!

481 (95%) Parishioners of Crigglestone, West Yorkshire have voted for a EU referendum.

The organiser of the poll, Alex Story said:

"Gordon Brown should sit up and take notice of what is happening in Crigglestone - people want a national referendum and won't allow him to get away with handing over our national sovereignty without a fight."

Voters say yes to referendum
By Staff Copy

----------------------------

QUOTE

A Peak District parish voted resoundingly in favour of a national referendum on
the new EU Treaty.

Baslow and Bubnell villagers organised their own poll on whether there should be
a national referendum, and 91 per cent of voters were in favour.

A third of the parish, 324 people, voted said organiser Brian Singleton.

"The referendum process revealed there's considerable outrage and anger amongst
our electors at the way the government has abused the democratic process.

"Now the electors have spoken."

UNQUOTE

----------------------

P.S. Does anyone have an up-to-date comprehensive tally for the parish referendum results please?

Am I being nieve ? but would I be wrong to assume the majority of those who want a referendum would vote it out? There seems to me no other reason why people would want one.

maybe there is hope yet
