This swamping of the country with Petitions is done to make us sick and tired of responding to them.

Thats the plan, eventually nobody will respond and thats when they will slip something important in with dubious wording.

We have to realise that we are up against cheats, thieves, liars and much much more.

BE ALERT OUT THERE.

As a side note did anybody see the Ten o'clock BBC news last night (could have been newsnight but i think it was the news)?

Mardell's piece made the point that the treaty provides for future powers to be adopted without further treaties and one of the examples he gave was Road Pricing. Based on the scale of the Road Pricing petition it would seem he put this in because he knows there is a lot of ill feeling towards it.

The tenuous link to this thread is that if it were not for the petition he may not have included it as an example, which i am sure will have helped the anti-EU cause as some people realised the link with the EU.

BTW i have also signed the referrendum petition.

Yes I saw that, I was quite surprised to be honest, I expected a BBC report to be something of a brown-nosing affair to the EU.
