Non! Sacre Blue! Vive le France
I think the French have accepted the EU because although the EU affects so many laws, the French either already had similar and more onerous or would have intorduced them anyway. i.e. all the time the EU is built in your image you notice no problems. However as we saw when the French rejected the constitution because it would break down the social model, when it starts to change things counter to your beliefs it becomes notciable. I hope the French are their ususal militant selves and kick up a stink. |
