Today’s Telegraph claims “The European Union is to open "job centres" in West Africa to advertise vacancies for would-be immigrants looking for work in europe.”

Why don't we employ our own before advertising vacancies abroad? :roll:

Here's an even more radical idea.

Why don't we stop effectively stealing Doctors, Nurses and other skilled people from developing countries who can least aford to lose them ?

Why should the good people of Africa, some of whom probably suffer from pretty poor health care, have their situation made worse by our skills poaching ?
