Default 'Germany plotting to take over British schools'

Just off the UKIP website:

Germany is hatching a plan to take over what is taught in British schools  , it was claimed last night.

Politicians in Berlin want to introduce a single European syllabus which will mean children in the UK receiving identical lessons to those across Germany, according to eurosceptic party UKIP.

The move comes at the start of the German Presidency of the EU as critics accusing them of attempting to shore up their power base.

There's more at (article dated 8.2.2007):

Default German Government, not people, to blame

I blame the German Government (a coalition of two europhile parties) and not the German people who, I maintain, are majority pro-British.

I agree. But they do seem to have been brainwashed a little by folks who're overly-anxious about their last century's history.

Most Germans would leave the EU given the choice.
But Germany has never been very good at democracy.

I agree with this.

The europhile ruling 'elite' in Germany are determined that the people of Germany do not get a vote on leaving the EU or on any other european matter.

I should like to see a specifically anti-EU party be formed in Germany and for it to start winning seats.

And I remain absolutely convinced that the Deutschmark will one day return as the currency of Germany when the euro is thrown into the dustbin of failed european 'projects'.

Just the same as here, only the Elite have the shame of WW2 stick to beat them with. A stick they created themselves, but the people of the time were too docile and stupid to see coming.

History couldn't repeat though could it.

Oh dear, wouldn't we much rather our children carried on learing about Bob Marley, and British guilt for the slave trade?

Those bloody Germans will want to teach them Maths and Physics, and all that nonsense. And they'll make them want to do sports.

We may have won the war, but check the dates. Since then, they've learned the lessons, thats why we are in the EU, which they control and we don't.
