I must confess to being very surprised about the July and August figures bearing in mind the summer we had, but i do recall the evenings being quite mild, despite all the rain.

When you start doing science at school one of the first things they tell you, is that the practice of science requires references. This is not just a fashion, it is inherent in the scientific principle that a claim must be such that another scientist can independently verify it. If it falls short of this, it is by definition unscientific.

Ah well you might not be aware then that Besoeker can jump up and down like crazy when people provide even a reference to something that has not been peer reviewed, and by that he means the IPCC, the great bastion of independence!
