The power brokers and media create this illusion of democracy and choice and even the most libertarian individuals seem to fall for it hook line and sinker.

God we're in big trouble !
Libertarianism guarantees that our nations are controlled by international finance.
A Traditional Conservative/Nationalist government would counter this trough Nationalisation and a strong national economy.

Trust me the government will not hang on to them in the long term. And in many of these cases it is only a part nationalisation with the government having no real influence in their running.

He's not the only one who thinks the BBC is the New Pravda. Have fun with this link Clippo. It's nothing to do with your favourite subject, but a good example of some journalistic investigation by a paper that does not get public funding.

    For goodness sake WHY !!!!!!!

(Based on known Milankovitch cycles over the last million years, it was almost certainly bound to happen in this timescale anyway – even after AGW (& Mankind) finally died down)

I agree re-nationalization is needed e.g. water but to say
"libertarianism guarantees that our nations are controlled by international finance" must be a joke ?

I don't know what your defintion of "Libertarianism" is, but that isn't who is power now.
In fact any true libertarian is trying to stop the monopoly of power we see in the banker bailout.
Only 1's that don't know, are the genuine people thinking it's about others sharing their own ideas.

Even for you this this a pretty stupid & incorrect statement. (matey boy)

I repeat, why should I, & others, be worried about an ice-age which scientists have predicted for over a century & will almost certainly occur in 10-100 THOUSAND years time? (even I would place my shirt on a bet like that!!!!)

Truth of the matter probably is that g hall just read the headline and mistakenly thought this was an attack on the worldwide consensus of Anthropogenic GW.
