Sometimes I like to listen to junk BBC stuff just for amusement value and to establish what they are teaching the young. Today on Radio One there was a giggle kind of chat topic about people sharing baths. I'm sure it got past the editorial pc brigade because it then went on to stuff like three women doing this, and so it's a good plug for lesbians.
Anyway, they cocked up and started getting phone calls to say that one should not have a bath, as it is not environmentally friendly and should take a shower instead. So quickly correcting himself the young presenter man said he was quite right and the girl co-host naturally agreed as if it was a silly mistake on their part. A short while later someone txtd in(sic) to say that he had no problem and could have a bath because he used solar power. They thought this was brilliant and all agreed that this man was a smart listener, like someone driving a Porsche compared to an Escort. It left me feeling bewildered as I looked out of the window to see the sky turning dark on a cold wintery day like we have today. I'd say he might well have encountered hypothermia in his solar powered bath, but this technicality was miles above the heads of the star presenters.

Because certain posters are always saying weather and climate are different to amuse myself I entered them both in Cambridge dictionaries online

Preventing ‘weather change’ just sounds ridiculous though.

Try understanding the significance of my bold underlines in your quote:-Spot the difference ?
It’s a curious feature of human nature that people who are too thick to understand these very basic differences still claim to be able to argue authoritatively on Climate Change – (& therefore expose themselves to be gormless prats.)weather (AIR CONDITIONS)

When they manage to predict the weather in one month's time I might start paying a little more attention to these masters of the universe. I do believe the errors increase exponentially with time, and so computer power needs to increase exponentially as well. Even if they do manage that there is no way their future models will accurately reflect what their basic models predicted and where they claim that they were proof. You can't have it both ways, you can't first say you are certain and then ask the public to believe that your new view is worse than what you had previously said and still be correct. It’s not science as we know it.
