Some people have morals. Lying to children on Blue Peter is not something I would have done. Bellamy is an example of integrity that we should aspire to. I know the BBC have none of this and will even stoop so low as to rip them off with fake competitions.

Bellamy did seem to vanish from our screens around 1997.
And when did we last see Robin Page?

I wonder if the BBC do actually have a Blacklist?

If the mods snip this then I won't complain but as Junius is allowed to post whatever he/she wants I will be surprised.

Around the turn of the century I knew a person living in the same area as David Bellamy who, without any particular political agenda, suggested that he was well known in the area for certain acts of behaviour. I'm reluctant to say more but can assure all that these acts were not sexual acts in any way and were far less newsworthy than they would be but newsworthy nevertheless. Perhaps there was an element of being cruel to be kind in the treatment of Bellamy by the broadcast media?

Writing in The Weekly Telepgraph about Johnathon Ross, Mr. Charles Moore, former editor of The Daily Telegraph, the Sunday Telegraph and the Spectator, said that in protest, he would not be paying his licencing fee when it came up for renewal if the offending comedian still held a job with the BBC at that time.
If Mr Moore is serious, there is the chance of doing damage to a very damaging and destructive organization. The BBC has become a prestigious voice of internationalism and universal subversion. A mass licence boycott would hurt it considerably.

That Ross episode is the straw that broke the camel's back, for sure. The BBC have pushed and pushed the boundaries and people so far have just become very disillusioned about it, now this has sparked a fight, even a riot some may say. The other day they said the BBC had made two special groveling apologies to their audiences on air. They know they are in serious trouble and it is about time something is done. I could well foresee that pornographer-in-chief, ex politically correct Channel 4 man getting the boot. He's not part of the problem, he is the problem.

Some of these TV ‘stars’ get too big for their boots – and on the way they naturally pick up enemies – jealous of their success (this happens everywhere by the way).

Therefore, I think it shows Ross’s & Brand’s stupidity for acting in a way for enemies to pot shot at them.

They aren’t the first & won’t be the last.

I’m sure some of you can think of others, but I remember Simon Dee, the disc jockey, p*ssing on his chips’ (to borrow a phrase).

Which leads me to wonder what David Bellamy’s mistake really was?

And you have hit on the main reason why this country is never likely to regain the power to govern itself that the establishment has thrown away and is instead likely to go further in the opposite direction.

Yes, always kiss your masters **** to get in the good books. No matter how bad he treats you, how many lies he tells you or what bad he does.
