I must confess to still taking the Telegraph although there is a free web site and I throw most of the sections away without looking at them at the weekend - but there is something about the physical presence of paper - probably mean less and less to future generations.

Having said that - if Charles is anything like right about the effects of hacking down the rain forests at the current rate, and I suspect he is - I very much hope he is successful with his campaign.

I'm not surprised we have lost so many species of wildlife. Some of the things companies have gotten away with due to the lack of the rule of law in South America are disgusting really.
It does not help either when they fund governments that keep their people in a state of servitude through violence either.

Rainforests are not gerenally used for papermaking.
