Forgive me for not getting overworked up over a bunch of hippies threating over a miniscule increase in a vital life giving gas.

387 parts per MILLION.

Of which human beings are accountable for a tiny fraction.

And that's if you accept their figures.

CO2, and other atmospheric gases, are continuously monitored at various parts of the world - both at the surface and in aircraft. The method of analysis is appropriate to the chemical & physical properties of the specific gas. Generally speaking, with respect to CO2, levels in the northern hemisphere and near large industrial areas are significantly higher than the global average.
