Wikipedia:Policies and guidelines - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Wikipedia's vitality lies exactly in the fact that many people can edit it as long as they act within the rules. You don't have to have a pile of cash and publishing deal to be involved.

The Wikipedia policies and guidelines answer all of your questions. They are extremely common questions and most people are satisfied. If you are not then fine, don't use Wikipedia but don't slag it off if you cannot be bothered to look into it properly.
