Speaking to audiences across the country, for up to an hour at a time, we were impressed by how well informed -and sceptical about global warming - were the array of presenters who interviewed us. We told them it would have been unthinkable to have such intelligent conversations on this subject on any BBC programme back in Britain.
now theres a surprise................not.

Default Brussels Broadcasting Corporation, liberal left, europhile 'elite', cilmate change

The BBC (Brussels Broadcasting Corporation) is the voice of the liberal left europhile 'elite' which promotes climate change hysteria as a way of trying to control people and as an excuse to raise tax.

Eco-socialism.

Eco-socialism.
The BBC even receives funding from the EU in order to push out pro-EU propaganda. Looking into this suggests it is treason as they are supposed to be an unbias publically funded organization.

Yet people still pay their TV tax, mainly due to the intimidation the BBC gives out if you don't.

The problem is on the other side it seems to be rightists and corporations who are making the big storm against it.

I take a cautious approach but do believe there is some man-made global warming.

Default BBC television licence, anti-English europhiles

I remember reading the report in the Sunday Times (on the link given in posting 5 to this thread).

I want the BBC television licence scrapped. Make them earn their keep instead of scrounging off the people of this country.

The BBC are just a bunch of anti-English europhiles.

We can be sure of one thing with this BBC we are forced to pay for - they will ignore England's St. George's Day this coming Wednesday. Just as they always do.

The BBC do give quite a good balance to the kind of Murdoch dominated rubbish alot of major media is turning into. In Australia the corporate channels are rubbish and I fear that is what removing the BBC might do to British TV.

"Balance" is a word which doesn't belong in the same sentence as "BBC".

You are in Australia and do not have access to the bulk of the BBC output - if you did the bias of the BBC would be glaringly obvious.

Here in the UK we are forced to pay the BBC to get the right to watch ITV or other independent broadcasters. The television licence is a ridiculous system - we should not have to pay the biased BBC so we can watch ITV.

There are people who post to this forum who believe that the BBC broadcast "rubbish".

We should not be forced to pay for the BBC.

You wrote elsewhere on the forum that your are a libertarian. Libertarians support freedom of choice. And that would include the freedom to choose not to receive the Brussels Braodcasting Corporation (BBC) and consequently not to have to pay them their licence fee.
