Default No global warming for ten years, Lord Lawson, scientist, anti-climate change

"There has been no global warming for ten years (since 1998)" said Lord Lawson (the former Chancellor) on BBC 2 Newsnight earlier this month.

When asked if he agreed with Lord Lawson's comment, an anti-climate change scientist said "Yes - that is correct."

"That is amazing" said Newsnight interviewer Jeremy Paxman.

Asia (including Singapore), parts of the Middle East, Cyprus and a large part of the USA have just had their coldest and most severe winter for 50 - 100 years.

Would you expect an anti-climate change scientist to say anything different?

Lord Lawson coming back into public life to speak out on this issue is most unexpected but very welcome.

I also welcome his interventions on the Global credit crunch, a far more important issue than this so cllaed climate change business.

Perhaps that is is a question you should put to Mr. Paxman, Besoeker - after all it was he who used the word "amazing" and not me .

Yes - the contribution of former Energy Minister and Chancellor Lord Lawson is most welcome. I hope that he will continue to speak out against climate change hysteria.

Since you put it in your post, presumably to make a point, I thought you might have had a view on it that you could share.
If not, no problem.
