No, I don't accept companies are incapable of realising profit opportunities. If they see the Danes have discovered a way of making money, they will invest themselves, so that they can make profit themselves. Only they won't steal money from people to create the opportunities.

I'm sure you hold thousands of pounds in windfarm stocks, seeing as you have such faith in it. Or is it only worth investing in, if it is money taken off of others that makes you happy?

Let's look into your claims anyway. Afterall, it is odd that big companies would turn down this apparent easy free profit. Companies are willing to lose millions normaly, as long as they see a long term potention for profit (examples 3G investment, Microsoft Xbox, etc).

Commies like make jobs, funded with stolen money and sold on the basis of lies.

I have neither the time nor the inclination to engage at this level. Do your own research, the question you pose is pretty basic. I suggest, however, that you stay away from 'www.conspiracytheoriesRus.com' and other garbage of that ilk.
Why do you insist on a cop-out instead of answering the question?
Just because I choose to post an opposing view you resort to crude abuse.
Not the standard of debate I expected.
If you cannot/will not engage in reasoned argument just say so and leave your anger for something else.

Nothing was stolen.... Under Danish law, the money given in subsidy has to be repaid, and is now being done so through compulsory reductions in energy bills.

The only shares I own are in a brewery, which will come as no surprise to those who know me well.

Last week I met with 3 lobbyists from the nuclear industry... they are chasing government subsidies....!

All companies will try to get subsidies. The correct answer is to tell them to go away, but then not rob them and their customers blind through taxation as you advocate.

Oh and if Denmark's system is to great, then it should now be the leader in cheap electricity right?

From the horses ****

Way to go Denmark. Not only did you rip mass subsidies from your people to start with, you now rip them off with the most expensive electricity in the EU. What an inspiration you are. No wonder gc promotes you as a beacon.

The price of energy should, in this context, be considered relative to income.
