Default Devloping Countrys need moremoney to fight climate change claim

BBC NEWS | Science/Nature | Adaptation 'key to climate deal'

With respect what they need before more money is proper free trade, democracy and to stop breeding like rabbits.

Why or why is it that the cry goes up, tax more or throw money at it every time there is a percieved problem, I suppose this approach keeps the masses dependant on the elite and thus the elite are sustained in power.

Indeed and this has been the British policy in most places in the third world and that of the UN as well. They flood markets with aid and the market is destroyed since no farmer can compete with free. It's not as if this is not an obvious point for someone working in the profession of keeping raw material prices low, whether that be for a 'charity' or some world government organisation directly. They just like to play the pretend game. "We do so much good in Africa..." Except the Africans are more wised up than our own dumbed down population these days. They know what climate change has been designed to do to them, to kill them basically.

If there is one thin the third world needs, it certainly isn't environmentalism!

Whats the old saying
Give a man a fish and he won't starve today
Teach him to fish and he won't starve
or something like that
We need to teach sustainability to the world and to use modern technology to increase yield. It can also be used to drive down infant mortality which in the last century in the west has meant that families have been smaller because parents know that their children will survive

I believe it's 'give a man a fish and he's fed for a day. Teach him to fish and he's fed for the rest of his life'.

Although personally I prefer this one:
'Give a man a fire and you keep him warm for a day.
Set fire to him and he's warm for the rest of his life.'

Montreal is the model here. The protocol could never have been implemented by developing economies without the Montreal fund, which was established to help them fund new technologies. The argument is that more developed economies got rich without a thought for the environment, and so why should NICs forgoe their chance to catch up because of stringent environmental standards they cannot afford? I think it is a valid argument.

Montreal was a success story.

The trouble is he may prefer to starve then be incinerated
