Interesting comment by Britannist which betrays the depths of his paranoia:-

Oh my God, the thought of punishment from UKIP !!!!!!

Please, please be my guest.

I’m flattered that you think they’ll take any notice of my opinions. It also reflects upon your own puffed-up delusions that they will take any notice of YOU.

I also assume you will ‘report’ everybody else here who has posted similar criticisms of UKIP.

Tell-tale-tit !! (with the emphasis on the latter word)

Try post #65 for example.
And no, you haven't offended me in the slightest.

You appear obsessed with this word paranoia, Clippo - your own possible paranoia perhaps?

As for your references (above) to "tell-tale-tit" and "report" I just thought that I would mention, Clippo, that I have, in fact, so far, never reported or officially complained about anyone on this forum although I have certainly had enough reason to do so on occasions.

A defensive response from you, Clippo, which does not disguise the fact that you are causing harm to the anti-climate change case with your rude attitude in this section of the forum to those who signal they can see through your misguided views about alleged global warming (i.e. your claim that humans are mostly responsible for any climate warming that might be taking place).

As I agree with your aim to reduce carbon emissions it is a pity you are being rather hostile in comments directed at me by you.

Would you care to clarify this please? In this statement above, to 'whom' have you never complained - UKIP or this forum ?

I derided you earlier because you clearly said:-

Quote:
Europhile troll Clotto has made an accusation about UKIP which I have copied, pasted and am passing to the relevant authority within UKIP for their attention.
(my bold emphasis).

I interpreted this as another example of your own delusions of authority here.

I really couldn't care less whether you complain, or to who.

I suspect I will get some guffaws from some quarters by saying this but I'm not really in the game of forcibly 'converting' any body to the 'AGW cause'. Over the years, I have tried to argue the scientific evidence case for AGW, (which I think is overwhelming) but it is very much like 'leading a horse to water'. You have to make up your own mind.

I consider that I have an open mind and should you or anybody else provide 'evidence' that demonstrates a major structural weakness in Climate Change understanding, I will admit openly that I was wrong.

I respect scientific integrity - thus until you can provide reliable evidence to back up your opinions on GW / AGW or substantiate fraudulent slanders about my political opinions, you will always be a target of criticisms from me.

NB added by edit:-To clarify my meaning earlier I wrote:-
Quote:
I also assume you will ‘report’ everybody else here who has posted similar criticisms of UKIP.
I meant that to mean that you would report UKIP critics here to 'the relevant authority in UKIP'.

Clippo: I can only emphasise that I have not, so far, formally complained about anyone on this forum in the Complaints section of the forum. I cannot be accused of "telling tales".

That is not a fair accusation, Clippo.

I have made two points in this section of the forum: I support cuts in carbon emissions (as long as cuts do not involve tax rises, gimmicks or any authoritarian measures) and I do not believe that if global warming is taking place that humans are mostly responsible for it.

It is not a good thing for to keep criticising me on this subject when I agree with your key aim of cutting carbon.
