Interesting.

I particularly like four things; firstly, how the article ignores the fact that there were reasonably large error bars on Mann's hockey stick graph, allowing for variation within that record; secondly, how the paper was published in that well known bastion of scientific methodology and integrity, Energy and Environment

; thirdly, how eleven eighteenths (~61%) of the sites chosen were in the western Northern Hemisphere, which is the only place any sign of a Medieval Warm Period or Little Ice Age were found in other papers; fourthly, (and this is an actual positive, surprisingly), how Dr. Loehle endorsed the oxygen isotope data as a proxy for historical temperatures, something which I have heard sceptics here criticise before.
