I rather suspect that Gore is a cross to bear for pro AGW supporters.

Yes, there are many who think that, overall, he may not be doing the climate change lobby much (or any) good.

I agree. The deniers make much of his pronouncements. They are used like ammunition. But if that’s the best they have……..

I wonder how much carbon Al Gore has caused to be emitted in all of his intercontinental travels and all his journeys within the USA since he started up about climate change?

You made my point much more eloquently than I.

Default Gore, aircraft, large house, small flat, 'low energy' light bulbs, public transport

Thank you, Besoeker.

I don't like the politically correct term 'carbon footprint' - but mine is very low and I resent being lectured by Gore (who may not have a low 'carbon footprint') to reduce mine further.

More may listen to Gore if he stops using aircraft; sells his large house and car (s?) and moves into a small flat (i.e. smaller = lower heating bills) lit only by a couple of 'low energy' light bulbs with a bus stop outside so he can use public transport to get around instead of a car.
