The above post contains the line most people need to take, we do not need to be dictated to from on high by the great and the good who have far greater carbon footprints than the rest of us.

But Clippo misses the key point again, increasingly Enviromental policy is being decided at at a European Level by a structure that is corrupt to the core. Therefore as the years progress what is a British PM to do if he disagrees with a policy on say cutting Carbon emmisssions? This is the crux of the problem, Agricultural Policy is decided by Brussels, Increasingly Trade Policy is decided by Brussels, Brussels now has an impact on our Home Affairs Policy, There is to be an EU Foreign Minister who will on occasion speak for Britian, if we join the Euro our financial policy will be decided by Brussels, Health and Safety in the Workplace is decided by Brussels.

This is the real problem and the one that Clippo is pointedly ignoring. Britian can no longer on key areas of policy act in its National Intrest.

There were just a few other nations outside Europe represented at Bali.
Not sure what they achieved, mind you.
