Oh, but there is!

The overwhelming science supports AGW so comprehensively and has persuaded the consensus of its' danger to the world so therefore what we should be debating here is steps to combat the damaging effects of Climate Change - not some silly conspiracy theories.

If we debate issues of what should be done in the future, rather than re-fighting battles that were decided years ago, there is is clearly no need for personal attacks.

To suggest that any 'side' should clear off clearly shows the desperation of the other of its' failure to come up with rational discussion issues.

So you've gone vegetarian already then, Clippo?

JC - I am fed up with you sitting on the fence - you will have to decide which side you are on!

One of those sides doesn't really belong in this forum. Is it any wonder that the folks who do want them to go away?

Don't panic. If you have to get your points across with people firing at you then consider it good practice. On the NO2ID forum we have had a few but they actually help our campaign immensely because the feeble level of opposition is seen by the general public as the best the opposition can came up with. Hence these threads are rarely deleted and often very popular. The line is drawn at people who are simply obscene but there are many semi intelligent people obviously working for the PR companies, and the best fun of all is when you don't let on that you know and slowly and methodically devour them. After five or six posts on each side it is too late for them to retract their illogical nonsense.

Surely this qualifies as a personal attack. Not that I care particularly knowing the mentally sub-normal methods of debate amongst many here.

I also thought the phrase was :-

“All Teeth & Trousers “ or a cruder variant which would appeal to some here:-
“All Wind & P*ss”

Of course, none apply to me or Carter’s original one.

However, the other phrase “ pot calling the kettle black" does come to mind.

You obviously didn't read what I wrote in a recent thread. Go see if you can find it.

Well, the insomnia isn't too intrusive at the moment, so I didn't need to.

Shame.

Don't dish it out if you can't take it.

Following me around now, are we?

I know I've got a lovely bum but I'm sorry Ian I just don't swing that way, so your affections will get you nowhere.
