It doesn't give much specifc data on solar, but based on the articles posted earlier in this thread construction cost for solar is about an order of magnitude greater than the other options. That in itself would make it an expensive option.

Yes, and maybe that was the objective.
It doesn't allow for the cost of long term storage of waste nor does it suggest how or where.
And that's the main objection that the antis use to stoke public opinion against nuclear.
It's not an insurmountable issue. But, until a definitive solution is made public, final waste disposal will continue to be used as an objection.

Not that these objectors have any other viable alternative other than accept that we import or sit in the dark.
