Today's Sun reports that "A secret world of exotic sea creatures — including fish with ANTI-FREEZE in their veins — has been found under melting Antarctic ice."

That's nothing new. It's been known for about a decade that there are some animals with the natural equivalent of anti-freeze in their bloodstream.

Evolution has produced some amazing life forms. Weird looking deep sea creatures have evolved that can withstand huge pressures.

There's a lot of the indigenous population of Newcastle who appear to have anti freeze in their veins or some other alcohol based concoction
