It's too hot for water vapour there.
Every planet has it's own characteristics and position that help determine it's climate and gas make up. It's way too simple to state co2 is the reason Venus is as it is. It's one part. And all that co2 must have come from somwhere. Do you think SUV's co2 drifted over from earth to cause it?
