Default Utter nutter says Moon could effect earth temperature.

Quote:
Unfortunately for these skeptics many academically respectable research papers have been done linking Moon influence with weather. I compiled a book 'Predicting Weather By The Moon' in which I cited from 30 such university-level research conclusions, all listed in the appendix. Much work has been done and it has not been challenged, and the results are waiting to be incorporated into weather science, but sad to say most climate and weather scientists simply refuse to focus on the Moon beyond sea tides. Air tides are definitely a no-no. One wonders what there was to be afraid of.
*Scoffs*, he'll be saying the moons pulls our tides around next.

I'm telling you it's so! I'm not crazy!

However the sun does revolve around the Earth. Most definitely.

Don't know if you were being sarcastic with that or not, but it actually does.

Oh, I know that the Sun and Earth revolve around a common origin close to the Sun's centre, much like the Lunar Moon revolving around a common point with the Earth at about 1000 miles beneath the Earth's surface.

However I was referring to the Sun and the Earth revolving around a common point being exactly the Earth's centre.

As does most of the universe, obviously.

That or John Prescott. I'm trying to decide whether his gut or his ego are bigger.

Basically; most people assume the Earth orbits the Sun DIRECTLY. Or they're ignorant geocentric sodomites.

Whereas in reality the Earth doesn't orbit the Sun, the Sun and the Earth orbit a common point of origin which is close to the Sun's centre.

I understand the earth and Sun wizz arounds a certain point, but the moon still goes around the earth and the earth still goes around the sun surely?

No.

Just incredibly simplistic.

Still, the point of common origin IS within the Sun, so the Earth does revolve around the sun.

It's just the really simple way of stating it.
