You mugs are going to ce CO2 release like never before soon and a whole lot more.

How can we blame humans for this supervolcano blowing, so that we can creat new control and tax sytems, up until it blows anyway?

That must have been the most tedious and pointless link anyone has ever produced on this forum.

Suffice to say I've known about this possible event for years & watched the docu-drama.

Am I worried about CO2 release from this possible event? - No Way!. Like the tiddlers Mt. St Helens, Pinatubo, Krakatoa, Tambora, Toba and hundreds of others over geological history, it will chuck up into the atmosphere so much **** that it will cause global cooling.

Perhaps our only way to save the world from man-mad GW is to detonate a nuclear device in yellowstone to get it going.

Ah didums, clippo doesn't like the fact a supervolcano is 1000 times something to be concerned about. Makes clippos religion look silly, clippo doesn't like that, so throws all his toys out of the pram.

Perhaps we re-vist the blame game AFTER the event has actually taken place?

No, we must blame us all the time. Then we can tax us and control us, its the the way of the religous order of hysteria.

Amen.

I quite enjoy debates with mpkdavies. He continually makes stupid mistakes making it so easy to make him look a fool.
So, yet again - Incorrect as usual. What I actually wrote was:-
Quote:
Am I worried about CO2 release from this possible event? - No Way!. (my bolding).
Since you have clearly & repeatedly demonstrated no knowledge of vulcanism, I was just pointing out to you that that the bigger danger from this type of eruption, if & when it occurs, is the global cooling/winter effect. This was a factual occurence with the eruptions of the volcanoes I listed. If you get the chance. when the BBC repeat the 'Ring of Fire' documentary series, try to see the episode about Toba, Indonesia, (but you probably won't because you don't like anything that threatens your version of reality).

I am far more worried about release of 40 odd cubic kilometers of rock & dust into the atmosphere - we're all likely to choke to death.

Still he resorts to pathetic jibes about religion, (but it is good to see he's going off Voodoo at last) which demonstrates he is completely bereft of any original thought & commonsense

I could, of course, respond to mpdavies last post in my usual cutting & witty way but hey!, we are now in the season of 'peace & goodwill to all men' (& women).

Although I'm an atheist & proud of it, my thoughts at this time of year turn to the deeper things of life, (especially xmas pud.), so I'll refrain from any belittling of a fellow human being, whatever their religion is.

Can't promise to keep it up after Jan 6th, but for now

Merry Xmas & a globally Warm New Year Matt!
