I'll tell ya what's happening here. You're looking at incredibly small periods of time which suit your pre-defined position (as noted by your observation that 1975 is a "long way short" of the present day). Your hockey stick guy and all the other scientists on your side are doing the same: they're fitting the data to match their pre-defined position.

A bit like how Labour used an anomalous year on which to base their speed cameras/road deaths statistics.

Now, as far as I'm concerned any scientist who does this isn't a scientist at all - they're a politician.
I do wish you would stick to facts.

A. I have not once mentioned anything about a hockey stick, far less kept banging on about it.
B. It follows from A that I have not commented on the data therein.
C. No, I am not telling you and have never told you that we didn't have industrialisation until 1975.
D. You don't know what my predefined position is. You just assumed it. As did Clippo, incidently.
E. It follows from D that you don't which other scientists are on my side.
One must assume that you don't realise that the words "you" and "your" can actually be used in the plural form - meaning "you GW voodooists", as was the case here.

But never mind, just keep letting those small details occupy your thoughts.

All should read this,it's clearly spelled out and very easy to read, especially the last couple of paragraphs located before "References".

Quit the squabling and enjoy the facts that are presented for all to see.

Of course, some still believe the Earth is flat........and always will probably.

Here are the multiple layers that all have to be broken down by the voodoo hysteria cult of gw, before I will accept higher taxation and loss of liberties on the back of it.

1. Is the planet changing temperature beyond what has happened before?
2. Why do you think co2 is the cause?
3. Why do you think man made co2 is the cause, when nature produces the vast bulk of it every year?
4. Why don't you think the sun, that is warming planets where we don't live up more, couldn't be the driving factor here?
5. Who says this warming is actualy bad for the planet? It might be good overall.
6. Why do you think the climate should stabalise just beacause we now live here?
7. Why are the people trying to scare me into surrending my money and freedom, not surrendering their money and freedom even more as an example?
8. What difference will Britain turning into an unihabited country have on the effect of the whole world? I see roughly nil effect. So what is the point in us tinkering anyway?
9. If this co2 is supposed to be soaring right now and co2 is supposed to be the cause of warming, why isn't the temperature followin co2 in soaring, just like all your crappy greaphs are supposed to show in the past?
10. How come co2 has followed warming in the main in the past not the other way around?
11. How come co2 has spiked massivley in the past, without our intervention.
12. Why are you worried when the planet has been MUCH warmer and had more co2 than before now.
13. Aren't there much more pressing REAL issues facing mankind, than this voodoo?
14. Why is it only now that any kind of debate is being allowed, with the normal biased mongers of propaganda like the BBC, still stick to the one sided line?

All of them need to be answered for me and so far no one has come close.
