    Some of us will wonder?

Dont wonder too much. I am a long standing member of the EDP because it is the party whose policies are closest to what I believe.
I dont agree with David that the EDP are anti Scottish (although I do think that their campaigning may give that impression and I think it turns the public away from the EDP). However as I said I agree with a lot of what David says on his posts generally.

You have ducked the question which is: Do you agree that the EDP are spreading hatred for the Scottish and Welsh? THAT is what david H alleges!

Of course, your reference to EDP campaigning may be a circumlocutory way of agreeing with him, but it is not entirely clear. Be in no doubt that david H is a member of no registered political party, and is no friend of the EDP, quite the contrary!

I thought I did answer the question. What I believe is that the EDP may come across to the public as anti Scottish (and people have told me this). I dont believe that the average member is though.

David may not be a friend of the EDP (but he probably prefers them to the main 3 parties?), but what would be the point if we all agreed? It would stifle the debate!

I would like to defend Tony Linsell against some of the comments made here. I have met him a couple of times and read several of his books. I have to say, he is an extremely articulate and intelligent man who has done so much for the English cause. Standing for election is not for everyone, and some people are uncomfortable with it, but do other things just as valuable.

Without Tony's efforts and his good work, the cause would be a lot poorer.

Well, you have not answered that question. You've answered another question about how the EDP may come across!

Lest you missed it [again!], HATE is the key word, and once again you've eschewed the opportunity of denying it. Currently, your 'clever' response can be construed by those unfavourably disposed towards the EDP as being an endorsement of david H's accusation; perhaps that's really what you want?

Which particular comments were those then Richard? I am not aware that anyone has criticised him here or that there is any other need 'to defend' him! I think we should be told.

    Bye!

I dont think the EDP are spreading hate towards the Scots and so I disagree with David on this.
No doubt I still havent answered you.

Oh, but you have! Thank goodness!

Even so, I can accept that there is more than one opinion about the effects of some of the EDP's campaigning and that it could cause concern.

Its all about how we are perceived, unfortunately we may appear to the public to be just whinging about Scotland instead of being positive about things instead. Whinging is very unnattractive!
