Default Renaming of this section

The FEDs have their own party website on the cosg forum and I object to having to post under this heading which features their name.

Do others agree that this thread should be renamed, perhaps changed to "English nationalism"?

Yes I would agree with that, given that the EDs are all but dead.

I suppose it would make more sense for this section to be concerned with English nationalist parties in general. I voted for the third option - though I would never vote for the parties themselves, of course.

Option 3 selected. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt by classing any Party with 'England' in its name as 'nationalist'.

There are 3 Free England members known to me here who are active on this forum but I think they have more support/sympathy from other forum members of all parties and none than do the EDs. I think there are somewhere around 8 ED members known to me here who are active on this forum plus some inactive members. There are also forum members such as Britannist who create topics related to England in this part of the forum even though they are not related to the English Democrats.

Free England have said they have 30-40 members, the EDs I think have over 1000.

Option 1 is a bad joke, option 2 is not right for this forum, option 3 sounds right unless a slightly better suggestion is made, option 4 is offensive. I do agree with Andrew Constantine that the name should be changed.

Andrew, if you had been as fair minded as you profess to be, you would have created the option of "English Democrats Party and other English nationalists" rather than "FEDs and other English nationalists". After all, you've provided for "Free England Party and other English nationalists".

How small minded and petty is that? You might well complain about another certain person! Both of you have a lot in common. Another example of 'likes repelling'?

I voted option 3 as I think a renaming would show fairness to all. At the end of the day it's down to the site owners. I hope they do change the name and rename it something neutral.
