UKIP has already announced that its candidate will be Mike Nattrass: UK Independence Party - UKIP to fight Crewe by-election

Will the English Democrats Party be fielding a candidate? If so, they'll need to get their skates on!

Will you be telling the NC that when they decide not to field a candidate there? Come on, it's only 4 months until the conference where you can refocus. What's to be gained from spending more money on a campaign so soon after London?

Brownie is really steaming rollering thro' on this one! Presumably in the hopes of minimising the number of candidates ie those from small parties and Independents.

The EDP must make its own calculations, but it would seem a good idea to participate if feasible.
