Denied the BNP a third seat, let Labour hold onto a seat.

Default English Democrats, EU Constituencies, elections, 'Parliament', seat

A vote share of 6% for the English Democrats (please see reference to a 6% vote share for the English Democrats in posting number one to this thread) is significant in that if the English Democrats managed to get that vote share in one of the two largest UK EU constituencies in the EU Elections of June 2009 they might just narrowly win a seat in the EU 'Parliament'.

How anyone can really claim to want a pro-Euro Labour party candidate to beat the BNP, just because of petty party rivalries is beyond me. The BNP may well have at the top people that many despise, but then so does UKIP, at least to me because of my experiences with some of the gravy train cretins that I came across in the last ten years.

The election of ANY anti-EU candidate, no matter which party they belong to, should be applauded and trivialised, and the ED's unfortunately made an impact that only benefitted our opponents to federalism, that is NOT a good thing.

For me, it matters not one jot which party takes us of our Europe, as long as they get the job done, and that is not too unlike the opinions of Farage some time ago, though he was referring no doubt to his wealthy friends in the boring Tory camp.

One nationalist party denies another of getting power, and assists New Labour in getting power!!!!?????

Yeah well done.

This is really helping England and the English.

Unbeleivable! The majorety of the English must hate the EDP in the Bede ward of Bedworth, and Labour must be laughing their arses off and will continue to ignore the English in that area.

Is this 6% using the same dogdy method as the last local elections? or are you being honest with the public now?

I remember you working my % out in the last local elections as higher than it should have been, and I honestly protested and soon left the party due to much nonsense and you not being radical enough etc

I hope your being honest with the English public these days, as this is what the English public want, as they are sick and tired of political lies, as this is what puts them off politics.
