Not sure KM should shoulder the entire blame.
A number of cogs in the EDP machinery will be responsible - - ultimately, the buck stops with the leader.

I don't recall saying that he should shoulder the entire blame.

Dear Danny

Matt O'Connors actions put the situation into "no Mans land"

He is able to resign from the English Democrats at any time he wishes.

However he is still the Official English Democrats London Mayoral Candidate until 1 May 2008.

The BBC have reported the matter in such a way to confuse the Electorate.

That really does not surprise me, the MSM have stacked the odds against the smaller parties from the start. The Torygrah had the ED's candidate down as Gary Bushell for ages, absolutly no mention of O'Connor. They also reffered to the ED's and UKIP as irellevant in one of the articles.
I'd expect no help from the that quater as it's a Tory paper and the Beeb and Channel 4 for example are infested with Lefties and control freaks.
Th wonders of the MSM.

UKIP and the English Democrats are not irrelevant in the London Mayoral/Assembly elections as some in the media might claim.

This week's London Mayoral vote could be so close that who actually wins is determined by the distribution of 10, 000 - 20, 000 second preference votes - many of them from UKIP and English Democrat supporters.

UK Independence (UKIP), English Democrat, Free England and One London Party second preference votes might be the deciding factor in who is Mayor of the capital at the end of this week.

London Mayoral Election 2008 candidates: Richard Barnbrook - British National Party, Gerard Batten - UK Independence Party, Siān Berry - Green Party, Alan Craig - Christian Peoples Alliance and Christian Party , Lindsey German - Left List, Boris Johnson - Conservative Party, Ken Livingstone - The Labour Party, Winston McKenzie - Independent, Matt O'Connor - English Democrats, Brian Paddick - Liberal Democrats.

Full details of the London Mayoral and Assembly candidates for the 1.5.2008 London Elections at:

London Elects - The candidates

and in posting number three at:

UKIP Gerard Batten London mayor Election Broadcast
