English Dems. should back UKIP London Mayor candidate & work with UKIP after election
Just to confirm that I am not a mayoral candidate, and I am not sure who I will personally vote for.

I thought that was the case. If you were rich enough to blow 10k on this, then you would have been leading the EDP by now.

Whoever you choose to vote for, just make sure it isn't the LibLabConsensus party. I bet you dilsike Red Ken as much as me (mind Matt A'Gonna said he would vote for him when pushed), but Boris is just as bad.

If I were a disgruntled EDP ex member, I would vote

1. EDP anyway, as there is no other truly English Parliament obsessed candidate.
2. UKIP, as the only other party that states there is serious imbalance and would do something about it.

Yes, this is a rational approach with which I do not quibble!

Ive said from day one about the London elections...
EDP & UKIP will be bottom of the pile of the nationalist parties...and also near to the bottom of the pile of any parties.
when I say nationalist parties, I mean it in the most Liberal way that I can, which is where they both fall down.

Thank you for your reply, Richard.

Thank you for your reply Andrew.

As I explained in another thread - I had read your article on the London Elects You website about what you would do if you were Mayor.

I then wrongly assumed that you were a Mayoral candidate for the Free England Party (FEP).

Just to confirm to other readers - Andrew is not a candidate for the London Mayoralty in this week's Mayoral Election: but he is standing as FEP candidate in the south-west constituency in the London Assembly Election being held on the same day.

Here is a link to Andrew's article (which I first read in March and then read again earlier this week) about what he would do if he were the Mayor of London:

LondonelectsYOU! - Search Results

London Mayoral Election 2008 candidates: Richard Barnbrook - British National Party, Gerard Batten - UK Independence Party, Siān Berry - Green Party, Alan Craig - Christian Peoples Alliance and Christian Party , Lindsey German - Left List, Boris Johnson - Conservative Party, Ken Livingstone - The Labour Party, Winston McKenzie - Independent, Matt O'Connor - English Democrats, Brian Paddick - Liberal Democrats.

Full details of the London Mayoral and Assembly candidates for the 1.5.2008 London Elections at:

London Elects - The candidates

and in posting number three at:

UKIP Gerard Batten London mayor Election Broadcast
